Instead of simply splitting the available 400 kW between two vehicles, the charger uses <strong>dynamic power sharing<\/strong>. This means that the available power is directed where it is needed most at any given moment.<\/p>\n<p>When only one vehicle is charging, it can use up to <strong>400 kW<\/strong>. When a second vehicle connects, the charger automatically distributes the available power according to how much each vehicle can accept at that moment.<\/p>\n<p>For example, the power can be distributed as <strong>300 + 100 kW<\/strong> or <strong>200 + 200 kW<\/strong>. If the charging power of one vehicle decreases, the available power can automatically be allocated to the other vehicle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fast and flexible charging<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Alpitronic HYC400<\/strong> uses 50 kW power modules and automatically adjusts the voltage, current and charging power required by each vehicle.
