The total area of the center exceeds 11,000 m², with more than half occupied by the Maxima XXX store.
The renewed Pärnu store has received a modern look both inside and out, while simultaneously implementing sustainable solutions that significantly reduce the center’s operating costs and carbon footprint.
The Maxima store is equipped with a new-generation CO₂ refrigeration system, featuring a compressor station produced in Estonia and built with world-class components. The new system is significantly more environmentally friendly – its global warming potential (GWP) has been reduced to nearly zero. In addition, energy efficiency has improved by 20–30%. A modern heat recovery system further optimizes energy use by directing residual heat from the refrigeration units to heat the building and water. This allows heating costs to be reduced by approximately 30%.
According to Diana Gegelyte, Chairman of the Management Board of Maxima Estonia, this is Maxima’s largest investment in 2025, totaling 8 million euros. “Suve Center is a great example of how we aim to grow together with the community. Our goal was to create an environment that offers convenient shopping, combines modern solutions with beloved brands, and I believe we have succeeded in doing just that.”
