“This is the first IKEA store in Pärnu with a unique concept for the region. Pärnu’s IKEA offers a customer-focused shopping experience tailored to the needs of the local community,” said Reimo Simsalu, Head of Real Estate and Business Development, Capfield.

According to Simsalu, Capfield is particularly pleased that Suve Keskus has opened fully leased, featuring strong and well-known anchor tenants. The redevelopment took just over six months and the centre is now home to Maxima, a brand new 1500m2 IKEA store as well as d a selection of smaller shops and services that meet the diverse needs of both local residents and visitors from further afield.

“Capfield’s retail real estate development strategy aims to turn commercial properties into highly viable, high-yield assets, while also bringing internationally recognised brands closer to smaller communities across Estonia,” Simsalu added.

Capfield OÜ is a retail centre owner and developer with one of the largest portfolios in Estonia, ranging from central Tallinn to its suburbs and beyond to Pärnu. Anchor tenants account for 65% of the portfolio’s total leasable space and include both local and international brands such as Bauhaus, IKEA, Prisma, Rimi Hyper, H&M, Tradehouse, KFC, Burger King, Nike Outlet, SportsDirect.com, Deichmann, Douglas, Hemtex, Selver, Maxima, Denim Dream, Jysk, Euronics, Apollo bookstores, and LPP fashion brands House, Sinsay and Cropp, among other notable tenants.
